Specialized in Art History, Aurelia Nicolosi has to her credit important collaborations with Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, Palazzo Strozzi in Florence and Palazzo Blu in Pisa among others. For Giunti Publishing House, she has edited several catalogs of important artists and coordinated worldly-renowned art exhibits. In 2011, she has helped planning the important “Artists in the light of Sicily” exhibition, curated by famous Italian Art Historian Vittorio Sgarbi, and supervised several workshops at local Sicilian schools in collaboration with Artimpara Association from Palermo. She has also coordinated many cultural initiatives in behalf of the Reba Association of Catania, which was established with the help of one of the most famous local singers, Carmen Consoli. At the present time, Aurelia supervises the organization of several cultural and artistic projects at both national and local level; she also teaches in secondary school and writes as a freelance art critic on well-known national art magazines such as Aliante, Edible Culture and Officine delle Arti. Aurelia is also the Sicilian point of contact for the Florentine Cultural Association Fund4art.
